There are a lot of hydrated garden lime products.
Seems to work faster and if you already have too much magnesium in the soil it is an option.
You just have to be careful with it and use it in the winter.

Needless to say I dont need to raise my pH.:lol:

In the '70's I worked in a greenhouse where hydrated lime was added to the sawdust/chip raised beds that were used for growing tomatoes (Vendor then Fantastic) hydroponically.
