KC, one of my favorite scenes from any movie, now where did I put the Holy Grenade of Antioch anyway.

GardenMama, we are not allowed to hunt in CA. You should know the rules

Keith,
It looks like Vic has chosen the method of control that includes shooting. Or habitat modification, he is gonna remove the rabbits from the habitat

For three years now I've been providing them with optimum habitat, including a huge briar patch for cover, feeding'm good ... leaving plenty of clover in the lawn, plantin' Swiss chard, greens, lettuce, etc. for'm to eat outta the garden ... but now they've overstepped their bounds -- eatin' my peppers ... somebody's gonna pay

My dobe adored kids...and we didn't even have any until she was 7 yrs old. She was a real sweety...useless against any intruders, except for her looks.

She definitely didn't tolerate any critters in HER yard, though. Funny, one time she chased the neighbor's cat around and around the house...until cat jumped into a chair. Dog came around the corner, stopped nose to nose with the cat and didn't know what to do, LOL! She waited until the cat took off running again and the chase was on. I don't think she would have hurt it, she just liked to chase it.

[b](I've had a Doberman before ... great dog ... I've had a Black and Tan, too.

You could try one of these: www.ratmousezapper.com
The Ultra model should do the trick. People report them being very succesful in eliminating squirrels so I'd think they'd work on pesky wabbits too. Especially the wee ones.

good to know

thanks for the info on dobies, i like ears either way.We had a German Shep and he would chase the cat then turn him over and lick her. funny stuff.
Unforturnaly the dig bit my son in the face, almost lost his eye, Dog is in Police training for drug inforcement.Dog just decided he didn't like anyone near me even the kids.
We someday hope to get another dog someday.
