I have just been harvesting seeds, but I presume they are murderous indeed. Both of those had to be harvested a little early, due to weather. But all three of the mamas do turn the color of their name. I found them challenging to grow: slow, late, liked to drop leaves. Yield was not awful. I can tell these are bred for heat first. Other traits obviously suffer. Judging by aroma, flavor is probably ok, but nothing as fruity as Fatali or Black Naga. But I got what I wanted, which was a supply of seeds of the world's hottest peppers. (thank you again to my generous seed donor)

Overwintering Another Pepper
 

I'm now at the three week mark after knee replacement surgery and walking with the walker is easier. Before surgery I dug and potted up a paprika pepper from the garden to overwinter indoors. It's the first time I've grown this one, 'Feher Ozon', and it seems to be on the dwarfish side so a good candidate for bringing inside. I want to see if it goes as nuts when planted back out next spring as the overwintered Gypsy pepper did this past spring!

This pic is of my Rooster Spur Peppers that came up in the container from this past season. I'm gonna transplant a couple into a pot and try to overwinter them inside. Wish me luck, and we're looking forward to seeing the UGA Dawgs in the SEC Championship Game on December 1st!

This is the last of 2018 peppers, it was a great year. Patrick I didn't forget you, do you want me to send a few persimmon cuttings?

I've had 2 nights this season with temps at 34 and a light frost but tonight it's gonna drop to 30 so I picked the peppers that were still growing. I also dug up some plants to over winter.

I'm totally impressed that the Big Mustard Mamma plants survived the two frosts and continued to ripen peppers. They did lose some leaves but hung in there. This is a raised bed with peppers planted about 2' apart and staggered. I see I missed a few peppers but after picking 2 grocery bags I had enough.

Yes Sir! Would love some Louisiana Persimmon cuttings, got a bag of locally harvested seeds stratifing, but it was 19 degrees this morning here, probably not a good time to use the mail with cuttings.

Thank you! Not peppers, at least not many, and not usually. Probably same weather here as Hunt-Grow-Cook.

I just "de seeded" your Big Mamma Mustard (4) and then cut open your Fatali (2), my whole kitchen smells wonderful from 2 Fatali peppers... I love the smell in the morning... It smells like Victory! WOW!

I'm glad I still had fresh peppers to send rather than just seed. A taste test is better than a description.
