At this point it is not showing a lot of variation, other than the odd non-multiflora plant.

I am also working on a cross between Lillian's Yellow Heirloom x Zluta Kytice.

It tasted very good. Everybody loved them. But they were just too small, which made them a lot of work. Sort of a transparent dark yellow, pointy, looking a lot like Ildi (a lot). Not sure how big those are but these were 2 maybe 3 grams. It did made like 6-700 of them.
Most commercial cherries are multiflora but a different gene, and less multiflora then ildi/riesentraube types. The main difference is the ordered look of the cluster, basically a fishbone structure that splits and splits and they all set if nutrition is good (the hybrids). The classic multiflora gene has thousands of flowers which never happens with the fishbone style, and they seem to split after each flower making a sort of unordered cluster which often has quite a lot of leaves through it. Only a small part sets which is a waste of energy but are still rather productive overall.

Here is a pic of an ordered multiflora. There's more than 100 fruit on that cluster and most flowers set.

And I'm sure you remember sending me seeds and asking me to not share seeds with anyone.I even got concerned about birds,but as I reported back to you, the taste was great, but fruit size was all over the place. And you said you'd continue to work with it and it looks like that's what you are doing since I think it has a lot of potential. Even greater potential,possibly, than those outstanding chocolates that you have in Denmark.:lol:

All will grow 3 more months,10-15 foot.Florets will increase as it reaches up.

The photos in the garden are wild tomato species: Solanum habrochaites and peruvianum.

The photos of flowers in the hand are inter-species hybrids between wild tomatoes and domestic.

Here's a shot from one spot on my lone Ildi plant. Good thing for me it's just the one, because I'd be overrun if I had two!

Is Riesentraube a multiflora? Last time I grew a multiflora it was Sweet Beverly, years
ago. It was bland. I bought Barry’ Crazy Cherry to try this year, but now I know it
comes from Sweet Beverly, and also bland/mild . I’m still going to grow it though
because I have 2 plants growing now. I also have Riesentraube growing.
I love these pictures, the flower clusters are amazing.

Yes, Riesentraube is definitely a multiflora, but as with most multifloras,which are one of my fave types of tomatoes to grow,the inflorences can vary as to how many blossoms set fruit.

Last I knew Sweet Beverly was genetically unstable.And the despite the following claim

Thanks Carolynn. I'm looking forward to growing Riesentraube. I remember Sweet
Beverly being unstable. I only grew one plant, and it grew the correct fruit shape, but
wasn't much different from yellow pear except it was a multiflora. Next year I hope to
get one or two different multiflora's to try.
