I am growing Japanese pink cherry this year (2019) and will be putting seeds into the MMMM this fall. Assuming they do well.
I'm growing it also, hopefully it grows true. The Medovaya Kaplya that I got from the MMMM are potato leaved, so that's a good sign. |
Husky Cherry Red! I'm pretty sure it is a hybrid. I know Bonnie plants is stocking some at Home Depot stores so I hope I can find a couple of plants there. I grew them a few years ago with great results, but I was pretty hung up on open pollinated plants and seed. Today my primary interest is in the tomato quality and production and healthy plants so I am trying some newer hybrid varieties plus a few hybrds that performed well in the past.
I've been growing out ALL of the Husky varieties since about 2000. They have always grown true for me. Right now I have 4 of them listed. Husky Red is the only 1 I don't have decent seed for right now but it's on my grow list again this year. Carol |
ML Estler's was heavily traded 10 years ago or so. There's plenty of it out "there."
Yeah, plenty of 10 year old seed when you don't get around to trialing it.:?: Somewhat like 20 year old what may, or may not, be Red Brandywine? |

I had one pack of about 5 seeds (2014) in the MMMM this year. I can't remember if I sent it out or not. If I have it, finding it may be a problem. |
Indigo Kumquat. I know it's a new variety so not so widely spread and available yet..
|
I have 5 seeds labeled "Husky Cherry Red 2016" from sweetgapeach that came out through MMMM. Happy to send them out to someone to grow this year. Just send some seeds back at the end of the season if you have them.

I received one packet of five seeds in MMMM but after flipping it around a few times, confidently placed it in the pile for next year. Now I'm curious, but majorly out of garden room X 5. Can't remember if it was marked as F1.

I grew Japanese Pink cherry last year, loved it and am growing again this year. I have seeds I can share. PM me.
Japanese Pink Cherry. I could not find it in a Google search.
I second this. I had the same problem. |
So what happened to Black Early Tomato? By all accounts it is an excellent tomato rivaling the taste of Cherokee Purple. I guess maybe it needed a better story and some better promotion :)

http://tatianastomatobase.com/wiki/Black_Early
The last time I found Black Early, it was from Heritage Harvest in Canada. They will not ship to the US. I have a relative there who was visiting and delivered them. I love the tomato too. Black Giant has been my replacement. Barb |
I fear Siberian Pink Honey may be on its way out. The Russian name is Rozovyi Myod. I could find it at Ohio Heirloom Seeds and Double Helix Farms, but not this year. I see Pink Honey occasionally but I am not sure if it is the same thing.

Marianna's Heirloom Seeds has Black Early but that is the only place I see it offered

I was able to order Churra Plum & Seattle Blue Woolly Mammoth from Delectation Of Tomatoes.
Thanks to Gardadore for recommending that I contact Dale. |
