Air Layering is where you get the plant to root while it is still attached to the plant. I will get some pictures.

His tomato is going gangbusters there. What variety is it and how many stems is he going to allow?

I'm enjoying following this thread.

My brothers tomato plant is from the seeds I kept from my plant that I got from the sweet little lady Italian neighbor and she cannot remember what is called as she got it years ago from Italy....lol...My plant is from a sucker off the same plant....cheers....

It looks like that Sweet Little Italian Lady has good taste! Perhaps that's what you should call this tomato....

righand January 24, 2017 05:57 PM

Lol....I did find a variety that looks similar, the Sicilian Saucer and they can average 2 lbs....she had another variety shaped like a huge Roma tomato and it was just over 2 lbs...and has it in the freezer but I did not get a picture....cheers....
That is a Wahoo species....very tasty steaks....lol....my favorite place in the world....West End village on Roatan Island Honduras....cheers....
Nice pix. Thanks for sharing your designs. I'm using my gloomy January to play around with SIP's.

I've never been to Roatan but a dear friend owned Bay Island Beach Resort there was always inviting me to come down. I should have taken her up on the offer.

That looks so much like a tomato I have been trying to ID that came from an unknown source in Edmonton originally 15 years ago ! Is it pink when it's ripe?

Yes they are bight pink when ripe....wish I took some pics when ripening....but were bright pink as I left them extra long on the vine so I could save the seeds.....cheers....
