So Dewayne,
I spoke to the nematode supplier and he said I can not split the sponge into thirds. It has what looks like glue spots and each spot has a concentration of nematodes. So each dose can only be split in half. I learned this today. I also ordered more in addition to green lace wing eggs.

Very timely! Just about to order some up. I've not been able to control them so far. Starting to see disease as well with all this rain, high humidity and heat. As someone said, the honeymoon period of tomato growing is over for this year!

Arbico Organics has various sizes for any size garden. Them come in a water soluble powder and spray on with ease. These are the ones i used with awesome results.

I just ordered more as well. I also had them include some lacewing eggs. I have not used any pesticides this year and I am trying to avoid them. So far, with the beneficial nematodes at work for 4 weeks now I have not needed to take any other action. The nematodes applied, only work on the soil stage of thrips but the are so effective that if early enough in the infestation cycle, they are well under control. I am adding the lacewings as an inexpensive addition to the army of predatory nematodes. I also picked up some companion plants for the lacewings at the local garden center on Coit.
