Here's a Russian source for Rozovyi Myod
I was only commenting Rosovyi Myod seeds are getting harder to find not that they can not be found. In the past I could order the seed from Baker Creek, Ohio Heirloom Seeds and Double Helix Farms. The seeds come up in a search, but are not available. Yes there is still the option of Pay Pal, Amazon and a couple of very small companies that I am not familiar with. I did order from one of the US companies that comes up. The seeds arrived with a ? after the name on the packet so not reassuring what I got.
Barb
Oh, I see.:) |

I have ordered from her too. Highly recommend, but allow a month for shipping |

* Those new storage tomatoes that people have been raving about.
Schule1, you hopefully won't ever see the Spanish hanging tomato seeds for sale. The original source of them asked that they never be sold, "in honor of the poor people" with whom the seeds originated. They can be traded; Check your PM box.:D |
Anahu, Healani, Kewalo, Kalohi, Puunui, Molokai, HES 4857.
I'll pick up the varieties myself, one a day, if someone will pay for the stay and the round trip. ;) |

Renaissance Farms (Curtis) has this, listed as "Siberian Pink Honey." Here's the link: http://https://www.renaissancefarms.org/product/siberian-pink-honey-tomato/ Darrel Jones (Fusion) also has this available as starter plants on his website Check it out, just click on the "Varieties Available" link on the left hand column: http://www.selectedplants.com It's listed as available, under the name of Pink Honey. I grew this one from him a couple of years ago, and it was true, and a great big tomato. |
I got Kewalo at Trade Winds. It was $2. Much less expensive that your option. :-)

Shhhh. I'm still looking for that rich, benevolent, seed trader. Well, not really. But, I am looking for the Hawaiian varieties. |

Sounds great! If you have confidence in your abilities, one plant would suffice. |
The University of Hawaii has some of the tomatoes available (and other interesting stuff too!) -- https://www.ctahr.hawaii.edu/seed/Downloads/New%202019%20Seed%20Order%20Form.pdf and https://www.ctahr.hawaii.edu/seed/

I don't know how distributing (but not selling) Spanish hanging tomatoes honors the "poor people".
In my opinion, the "poor people" would be more honored if someone getting seeds from them sold them and cut them a royalty check. Perhaps a walk in their shoes would find the answer. Seeing things from a different perspective can change minds. If they have everything they need, rather than want, what good is a royalty check? One thing is extremely clear, they must have a very strong reason why they don't want seeds and plants sold. |
Anahu, Healani, Kewalo, Kalohi, Puunui, Molokai, HES 4857.
I've got Anahu and Kewalo. I show that I started Anahu this year but have not verified how many germinated. I have not been impressed with these varieties in my climate. They tend to be very susceptible to septoria.
