Hardening off table
3 Attachment(s)
hey guys just wanted to show the table I made to harden off my plants.
3 pallets (one with ply wood top) 3-1x3x8 scrap wood scrap 6 mill plastic self explanatory after seeing pictures it has flaps on two sides to lift up and let a breeze through and keep temps down. The plants have grown great after moving them out into this. After I get done using it for plants I will pull the hoop house off the top and use it to clean fish then next spring put the hoops back on it. |
Multifunctional, I like it. Fish guts make for happy gardening.

That will work.....

Very practical, I like it. Agree with Gerardo, fish waste makes great fertilizer.

oh yeah we have had those big head / Asian carp take over and I bow fish for them just to plant them I the garden! Last year I planted over 300 lbs in the garden.

Jesus that's a lot of fish... Nice set up btw I might try that! |
Ah only about 8 or 9 fish I cut them up into chunks and burry the along the biggest feeders. As far as the table I started out wit double layer on top when it was cooler out side, now Im down to 1 layer and this weekend I will take the cover off completely for a few days before I drop them in their permanent places in the ground. I thought this would be a great spot to keep them up off the ground out side and protected from birds, mice, cats......

I improved on this idea this year. I will have to get some pics up. I have two 48"x40" pallets end to end now and have made bows from 3/4 PE pipe I got from the dumpster at work they are on legs made from half of two other pallets and it puts the table height at 24" off the ground wich is a little low for me but at about 300lbs its already too heavy. I have also been working on my trampoline framed green house but that will be another post.
