wild tomato plant

Hi all.
Right under my house there is a very compact earth, with a lot of stone and very hard, it seems a land that is not fertile at all, no weeds grow. A wild tomato plant has grown, with very small cherry tomatoes. I think it is something incredible that this plant is alive and has tomatoes, it must be borne in mind that it has not rained for months and nobody has watered it.

When we moved to our new place, there was a 12x48 greenhouse on the property, it had commercial ground fabric covering the whole floor, but in one corner there was a 2foot by 8 foot bed made out of 2x6s so the soil was about 4 to five inches deep, and there was this tomato plant growing in this super hot environment, it gets over a hundred here, anyway that thing hadn't been watered all summer,it also had small tomatoes on it. You know how dry and fluffy potting soil gets when it hasn't been watered all summer long!! Needless to say I was totally amazed how tuff that plant was. I pulled it up to see if the roots had penetrated through the fabric ,but they hadn't.
