Hawaiian Seeds,tomato and veggies

I order coffee from Hawaii and asked the man about Hawaiian tomato seed and he gave me this Seed@ctahr.hawaii.edu. Contacted them and they do send to the mainland.I ordered some caus since I live in this high humidity and heat thought maybe I can find some strains that will fare better than the others. They replied and imagine that they said send us your order and send payment after receipt!I emailed a request and did not have to go thru the order form format. What I really liked is the disease listing resistants they post. They also have some veggies listed.

Looks good. I may have to order some seeds, simply because my daughter just went to Hawaii last fall... sounds like a good enough reason to me!! :D

I was sent seeds for Healani and Kewalo last year from a Hawaiian customer. I was able to harvest seed for Helani and should have some better seed for Kewalo next year (got poor germination on last year's seed).

We planted them out very late tho so I didn't get a good idea of how they should be. i was just glad we got anything from them last year.

Kurt
Thank you for sharing this. I love Hawaii. And this looks like a great source for seeds.
