Insecticide/Miticide

My wife brought home two 32 oz. bottles of Garden Safe Worry Free insecticide and miticide concentrate. They were marked down to $5 each.

I haven't used this one and was wondering if any of you have used it? Does it work?

I saw this on the shelves at the local Walmart last year. They got put in storage during the Christmas season.

A whole lot of stuff happened lately that ended with the store manager leaving and a lot of things being sold off really cheap.

Robert, what are the active ingredients in it ?

It's a pyrethrin based solution with piperonyl butoxide, so basically just a longer lasting more potent pyrethrin based solution. I still prefer permethrin-based stuff or spinosad, but everyone has their own preference.

Yes, it works fine, I pick this up when it's on closeout as well. Not particularly powerful or long lasting but quick knockdown. You'll find the same ingredients in dog flea shampoo.

Always follow label directions, the label is the law.

In full sunlight, the knockdown effect should last like 2 hours max. There is no systemic protection with it. So if you keep getting bugs, especially a lot of them, you'll need to keep spraying.

The synthetic pyrethroid permethrin stuff will last for close to a week in comparison, which is probably why you need prescription for that stuff when its in shampoos and creams.

Thanks for the replies, and Scooty thanks for the links. The writing font on the bottle is very small.
