Hi
Hi How are your Pink Habaneros doing? :) |
Fine. I always forget to take my phone when I water them. I'll try to remember it tomorrow and then I'll post a pic.

I forgot. Again.
Some pics of this night. They look very compact to me. But maybe that is typical of chinense? My baccatums and annuums are taller. |

A silly question, could fertilizer cause this?
. I have seen something like that on my tomatoes and peppers, but they were outside, and it was burn caused by an unexpected Spring shower and hot Sun. Unrelated, sorry. :) . You peppers look pretty. Leafy and stocky. Your pictures are great. Thanks for keeping us updated! :):D |
hmmm, They look a bit stunted and the mottling is starting to look "virussy" to me. There are a number of mosaic viruses that can affect peppers some can be transmitted via seed. Alfalfa Mosaic Virus for example. apparently becoming more common in peppers and transmission may be seed borne.
Maybe goggle search some pepper viral diseases photos to compare. I am not a pepper person so have no personal experience with pepper diseases but the mosaic patterning looks suspicious.. where did you get your seeds? KarenO |
I haven't used fertilizer. I use organic certified potting mix, so no quick release fertilizers.
But a virus was something I was thinking of at first too. They are indeed very small. One leaf follows the next. Also when I compare them to the Numex Suave. New leaves are almost white but they get greener when they grow. I got the seeds from the mmmm swap. I hope it's not contagious. I'll google that. |
