New non perennial brassica

This Brussels sprout was sown Feb 2018, grew fantastic sprouts that winter, come spring it didn't go into flower at all but carried on growing leaves. Winter 2019 it grew small open sprouts and now spring has arrived its not looking like it going to flower yet again. So what I have is a new none flowering perennial brassica that you can pick leaves off for salads.

Nifty! Looking forward to seeing all your garden has to offer, as ours begin to fade!

Too bad you can't send us a cutting. ;)
I have (or had!) this beautiful mild tasting soft leaved blue green kale that overwintered here and made delicious "mockoli" the following spring. Seeds getting old so I sowed it this year expecting to get some good plants to overwinter. Sadly they've been completely skeletonized by cabbage butterfly while I wasn't paying attention. :bummer: Still a chance they will produce new leaves once the butterfly season is kaput. I should look into a rescue op today.
There is much to be said for brassicas with the best leaf quality for salads. Stronger tasting and/or pricklier types are many and productive, but they work better in small amounts for my salad taste. Even Red Russian kale, I find the leaves are too soft to stand up well in salad....

I did get some mizuna seeds this year, it's one of my favorites too.

The white butterfly season wasn't too bad here last summer for some reason so I didn't use my nets, this was how this plant looked at the time, one of two holes but not too bad
