Rose snap bean...from Bill best

Hey guys!
Gary, is this the Rose bean from Bill best? I think you sent it out in an MMMM a few years back. I of course, planted the last seed without taking a pic, and wanting to make sure it’s growb true to type. |
That seed does look like Rose. A great snap bean, but it has a fairly long DTM... a little to long for me to get seed reliably in my climate.

My computer won't let me see the pics.
Rose seed should be fairly flat, colors being off-white frosted about 1/2 on one end with redish purple to dark purple. Dry pods are extremely lumpy. I've had a few sources for Rose, one of which was listed as both Rose and aka (something like) "Ohio Pole". I'll check to see if I still have the original seed pack and label. And, I also received some beans from Canada that look fairly close, I think the name was Melungeon. |
It’s a pretty grey with a plum color that looks almost “dipped” and then speckled.

I searched for these and Remy has them for sale in her Sample Seed Shop.
They are listed as Melungeon bean, and show a photo of a bean just like the one above. https://www.sampleseeds.com/?page_id=3725 |
I don’t think they are the same as the melungeon bean. These didn’t seem to have the same pod characteristics as what is stated on that site.
