healthy looking plants, but how come I don't see any pepper pods?
Looking good! None of my hots have pods of any size yet (actually, no, a couple do have sizable pods, but none of the super-hots). A bunch of my sweets are setting lots of pods.
One pod on one plant, but it's early for me. It's been in the 100's mostly, but in the fall my peppers do great.
These guys take a long time to produce pods. The plants look really good!
Look nice, looking forward to hearing how they do!

Trini perfume. 115 degrees expected. Not the pepper.
There ya go! How's your Rocotillo doing? I've got bunches of pods but still nothing ripe yet.
Very nice!
Are you north of the Bay Area? |
Happy to see the plants powered through the puffy stage. My Tasmanian Habanero behaved the same way. Great pics!
Nice colors! Any plans for the harvests? Hot sauce? Powders? Looks like you'll be BUSY!

Thanks all!
A tomato plant fell on top of the Rocottillo and Trinidad Perfume. Broke some branches but they recovered. I am technically in the East Bay, but more of a central valley climate. I think we are expecting 115 this weekend, and we can see the smoke from the various nearby fires. So far I have in mind these two hot sauce recipes for the Scotch Bonnets.
