I want to order some stuff from them but I don't want to be scammed.

They're a well known hot pepper enthusiasts forum, I wasn't even aware they had a store though.

Carolina Reaper Pepper seeds

Even has some one tried to order from that guy in SC?

The only place you can get carolina reaper seeds is
puckerbutt.com, which is Ed Curry's the breeder of
the carolina reaper, or PepperJoe, who has a bad
reputation here.

LB, I would suggest Judy at pepperlover.com. She has a great selection of super hot varieties and shipping is FREE. I would also suggest trying Morugas or Primos (unless you already have them) first and wait for all of the tried and true pepper gurus to see what happens this year when they grow them out.

Chances are pretty good that some members here will also have an opinion/proof source and available seed at the end of the harvest for sale or trade. I don't believe the hype of the snake oil salesman. I only heard about Bhuts 2 years ago and they grow well for me, along with many others, so "being the first" isn't a successful sales ploy for me. It could turn out to be an Edsel!

Apparently, Guinness hasn't stood behind the claim either.

pepperlover, great site. I've had a couple orders from pepperjoe and had a couple things fail to make 'type'... eg:

I planted what I thought were 4 paprika plants, three were, one was the 'peter pepper'.
At the behest of the wife this year (who somehow missed it last year) I bought peter pepper seeds, and I got one out of 6, the other 5 are... cayenne or something like that, I don't know.

The reaper seeds and plants do appear to be correct-to-type according to the pictures i've seen, so ymmv?

I have a Carolina Reaper with 6 leaves, that I'm going to grow indoors this winter. Bought seeds from Pepper Jerk hope it grows to type
I will check Pukerbutt, hate to waste my limited indoor seedling space on unknowns

with as miserable as the growing season has been for me, I may dig one of them up and put it in a container & try and overwinter it. too much rain (not complaining but dang), lost the battle with weeds, it's just been one of those years. re-tooling next year, I'd hoped to have enough diversity and quality among my peppers to offer them and sauces for sale at work and elsewhere locally, but, cest la vi right? :)


Pepper joe doesn't even actually grow those peppers, so hopefully there's not a lot of incursion with them.
