I've got seeds started for that one, not sure if I'll be brave enough to try it, but going to give it a go :)

I know how these guys feel. I too have eaten a full Carolina Reaper and the results are not good. I was curled in a ball for 4-6 hours trying not to throw up fire. These peppers are no joke. That being said in moderation they add some good heat to any salsa. Do you want to grow these Charline? I have plenty of seed.

This is probably the most interesting 'reaper-related' product to date:

Man as if vodka doesnt burn enough. I make straight Carolina Reaper sauce and it hurts enough i can only imagine if it was mixed with alcohol. Why anyone would drink that i will never understand. Also if anyone else would like some Carolina Reaper seed shoot me a pm and i will send some out to you.

Carolina Reaper struck me as more of an ornamental than an edible. If I was going to eat something that hot, the ghost peppers I grew next to it looked a lot more edible, thicker-walled, and easier to work with.

From what I read, the "World's Hottest Pepper" title depends upon who is giving the award and what rules they use. Guinness was ok with using the highest scoville number registered on any sample out of several. If those scoville numbers were averaged, or a mean was used, then the winner of the award would be a different variety.

Beyond the raw peppers is extract. The Source Hot Sauce is said to be the hottest, at 7,100,000 Scoville units.:insn:

I have tried it and i can contest that it is horrible. All it took was a toothpick dipped in it to make me wish i was dead. It was so hot that both my brother in law and myself drank hot soda that was in my car to releive the pain. I could not feel my tongue for around 4 hours. After you have had that the rest is just childs play.

I want to grow it to use as a mammal deterrent to my fruit trees! I have as of yet never used it. i have used other super hots, works well if you can keep it on the fruit!

I read a short story about a pepper eating contest many years ago.
What the winner did was inject sulfuric acid in his opponents peppers.
