Japanese Long or Suyo Long

I'm looking at possibly trying the above cucumbers instead of English Telegraph. Any experience with either and any comments?

Yes, I've grown both and definitely think that Suyo Long is the best.

Thanks Carolyn! I'll go in that direction then. I also grow Sweeter Yet Hybrid.

Agree with Carolyn. Its also a great seller

A third recommendation for Suyo Long. Long cukes with great flavor, and a very high yield. Like most long cucumbers, should be trellised to get the straightest fruit.

Thanks all. I grow my cukes on cattle panels--looking forward to trying a new to me variety!

Just in case you need it - a fourth recommendation for Suyo Long!

Fresh, young Boston Pickler is tastier than most cukes, to me.
The key is picking and eating cukes as young and tender, way before the seeds inside start getting hard. Also they like cooler weather and lots of water. JMO
