Ambrosia Melon
Does anyone know of a good source for Ambrosia Melon seed?
Territorial Seed isn't selling it this year. :( So, I have to find it elsewhere. I know Burpee, Harris Seeds, and Remier(sp?) have it, but I'd rather get it from someone I plan to order other seeds from. Thanks for your help! Lee P.S. Why do I want this variety again you might ask? 4 plants.... 52 melons 200 pounds of superb summer sweetness :) |
You ask for a lot.
Seedway carries them as does Park Seed and Burpee and tradewindfruit Since seedway has them, they should be widely available from small resellers. DarJones |
Pinetree has them at 15 seeds/$1.95.

Best melon I ever grew.

I like Ambrosia so much I actually broke down and bought a Burpee seed pack at one of the local big box places. I've gotten it at Pinetree in the past, but I don't order from them much anymore and hate to order just one item.
I'd love to hear if anyone has found something they regard as good as Ambrosia that is readily available. Emerald Gem is pretty good (op from SSE). |
I have grown Ambrosia melon's for the last two years. It is one of my fav. but ripe really fast do not last long. I am going to plant another type this year.
