Hey all,
Been awhile since I posted here but need some help identifying what's eating my plants.
I've seen rat's in my backyard before but didn't think they would eat the leaves only fruits, my tomatoes have the bottom leaves eaten as well. I put my ring camera up during the night and it didn't pick up anything, I'm confused!

Invisible bunnies?

Oh no! If it IS bunnies, you would need a 2' tall chicken wire fence all around anything you don't want them to eat.

Hello Jdubst13;

How are you doing up there in California, where I sold out of every Tomato Variety, especially My L A Roma Tomato Seed before the Super Bowl.

It's good that the Super Bowl got many people to grow their own Garde this year, Amen!!!.

The problem you are having with your cucumbers is their root system. They are too close to your tomato plants. Your Tomato plant's roots will in many cases, will dominate the root system of your cucumbers in your small container garden. But it's better to transplant the Tomato Plant than the cucumber plant at this stage. :|

probably not a factor for your area but deer eat the leaves and plants down to nubs
I've seen them walk thru an orchard full of apples to get at my plants.
They will also top tomato plants
residential area here BTW

Maybe rabbits...
But the rabbits around me would have eaten it all the way to the ground, not just the leaves.
Maybe a baby rabbit?

Hey all thank you for the reply's, to my horror I finally caught the culprits on my ring camera, RATS!
I'm shocked, watched them as they munched down on my tomato plants, never knew they ate the leaves and actual plants and also started eating my small green tomatoes off the plants too. I have snap traps out but they just ignore them, what should I do, poison?

OK, I am going to send you a Native American's Secret in dealing with this "eating fest situation" that will be harmless, since you have an emergency.

Please keep this Native American secret in your family, Amen!!

Hello from Angel Field Heirloom Tomatoes
Well, I am going to let everyone learn about this help because I have learned so much from everyone.

I want to help save your Cucumbers, but the secret to helping comes from Native Americans Chicken Heart Hot Peppers

You have to suit up to save the seeds because they will hurt your eyes. Place them around your plants to run even your dog away from your garden. Please wash your hands or you will burn your mouth, too.

The Hinkel Hatz Peppers I sell are also the same as the Chichen Heart. But I want to write a book snd get permission from Native Americans before I put this information out publicly because people would not give them any of the money they make off their own Vegetables and Farming Secrets.
