July 14 garden pictures

Well, I thought I would, for a change, post some pictures of the garden instead of diseased leaves and plants!
The back yard, with bush beans from seed doing well, kale doing well, and the rest, well, not bad. The front yard, Bush Champion doing well for the second year. I thought I'd only plant heirlooms when I started a few years ago, but I see that robust but not quite as tasty hybrids soothe the pain in years of awful weather... Garlic is doing well and should be ready in two or three weeks. Rain and cool weather, perhaps record-breaking this year, yet the lettuce finds a way to bolt. Well, of course I shouldn't have put it in such a sunny location as our deck! |

everything looks good/great! even the familiar looking trap - I have mine out 24/7 hate those $^!%#$%@*& rabbits

Everything looks nice as opposed to my hillbilly garden.
The lettuce is going to bolt no mater what. It is triggered by daylight hours. Worth |
It looks very nice. That is a garden I would like to drive by and see. If I were to see you out in the garden area, I would stop and compliment you.
|
Very nice!

Lovely to see a lawn dug up to grow food. I thought the wire thing (cage) was a yard ornament ;) .

Admirable !

Now for some details...

A few pictures of the earthtainers... You can see the tomatoes in one are really suffering of something . If I have time, I'll have a go at it with neem oil. It'll be my first time trying it. The rest seem healthy for now, but lots of dropped flowers. I guess it's the unusually rainy weather.

Oh, and thanks for the (undeserved) compliments!
