2 pound 4oz. German Red StrawBerry fruit, can trade seed

Hi Folks, Old Friends, an New Acquaintances-to-be... :) :D

Here's a pic of a GRSB that i saved seed from, last year, because i knew it to be true seed, as it was the very first fruit to set. I remember using old sheets, curtains, whatever i could find to wrap around the cages these plants were set into, in late March, an then dumping a whole lot of dry leaves over them to cover them up, during the waning nights of late spring frost, an rakin that stuff out in the daytime, on good days, jus to re-apply it, later.

Will post a seed trade message in that sub-forum. This joker went 36 ounces, an was enjoyed entirely on BLT sandwhiches... :P :P 8)

Gimme, that's just fine or feel free to post about it at your convenience in the Common Garden Diseases forum -- right below the General Discussion forum. I know other folks are curious about it as well.

Again, good to hear from you. :)

Gimme, was it a double-set fruit? Looks like it's got 2 points on the bottom.

I'm just reading this thread for the first time and I agree with Earl that it's a double heart.

Quite common with Russian #117, less common, but has been seen, with GRS.

Hi There

That's a great Photo. I was wondering where you been on GW now I see where everyone went.
If you have anymore seeds left I would like some.
