Heirloom Tomato Picture - Harvest 8/7/08
I've been a little quiet because I've been busy with peppers and other stuff, but don't think I forgot to grow heirloom tomatoes. Thanks to the many who kindly shared seed here with me. These are some beautiful varieties (Frakenstein Black, Yellow Ruffles, Chocolate Ruffles, Black Bell, Orange Ruffles, and many, many more).

None are ripe yet, but I truly have enjoyed some of the Lithuanian varieties I purchased from Tatiana earlier this year. They are the most unusual, gigantic varieties I've ever seen. I can'r wait to taste them and see how they ripen. Kazahkstan Heart (sp??) is marvelous looking!
