Need Pepper Identification
1 Attachment(s)
Long, gnarly green hot peppers grown from seed from peppers purchased at an Asian market last year. Fairly thick walled and hot toward the stem end. Plant is 4' tall, staked and prolific since July. Not a lot of seed and short membranes. Great pepper taste. None turn red on the plant. Largest has been 10" long.
Any guesses appreciated, just want to call the pepper something other than "long. green, Asian market pepper". Seeds available for trade if you want to try this pepper. identify, pepper, long |
Manganji?

I think you nailed the pepper immediately. From searches it is exactly as described. Would you like some seeds? PM your address and I will be glad to share with you and other TVs. Thanks for the quick reply. |
Thanks, MuddyBuckets, but I have seeds from growing Manganji in my garden. I originally got them from TradeWinds Fruit. I've found that Manganji does best in containers here, but I'll bet it does well in the ground in your southern locale. Enjoy!
