Wow, what an amazing selection, they look so lovely. The GWR is gorgeous and I love the colour and pattern of FY 4-1, got real sparkle :)

Pretty close, I do about 500 plants a year of segregating hybrid lines. It's not as many as I'd like, but it's enough to feel OK making selections. I'm always open to extra help though. ;)

Nice looking maters there. Those are some very interesting parental selections also.

The GWR one does look very good!

Sweet! :D They are so pretty.
I didn't know that a cross between an F1 and an OP was also called an "F1". I did a couple of this type of complex cross this year but ended up labelling the seeds "F2", because I know they'll be all over the map, not uniformly identical like the usual F1 hybrid. :?!?: Crosses between F2 and OP I also labelled F2. :surprised: Confusing... yes. :dizzy:

My main problem with this line right now is culling down to just a few to carry forward, because I dig most of these. F3 seems to be a bit of a "sweet spot" in the complex cross growouts.
