How does Celebration compare to Celebrity?


I have grown Celebrity several years ago, but never grown Celebration. Any information about Celebration would be greatly appreciated.

I"ve grown it for the last 4 or 5 years to sell as an alternative to Celebrity. My memory says it is a sibling of Celebrity sharing one parent. It is selected for slightly better production. Flavor IMO is not that good, but if you just want a bunch of tomatoes on a determinate plant, it fills the bill.

Thanks for your reply. What about size, how does it compare with Celebrity?

Similar production, similar flavor, slightly larger size. IMO, it is just another commercial hybrid.

A friend grew it and it is a round, red, tough skinned and tasteless 4 ounce grocery store tomato.
