I read that only certain tree hoppers are bad but if he was on a plant in the GH I assume he was sucking juices from it? Thanks for the help Nattybo! |

I never tried it. I know pyrethrin or permethrin will. I think neem does too. But I would try a strong soapy water first, block out their breathing spiracles, rupture the wax on their bodies. |
Well I already need to spray for caterpillars and the label says it kills thrips so I'm going to try it. Thanks for the help Marsha!

To update it did work. Checked around 24 hours later and no sign of thrips and hornworms had either fallen or were hanging.
