I'm jealous! Beautiful plants. Varieties? N.Z is a beautiful country. What is the best month for someone from the states to visit? Since the seasons are reversed?

I am really enjoying your garden. What varieties are you growing? How far apart have you spaced your plants?

In post #6 I can not see your photos.

Thanks for sharing your garden with us.

Your plants are looking very good. It makes me jealous since we have snow here.
We visited New Zealand the first part of March of 2013. The weather was beautiful and it was a nice break from Wyoming winters.

Everything is looking beautiful. Nice and healthy. What is the white powder that you are putting around your plants? What fertilizer do you use there?

raven87 January 31, 2017 07:38 PM

Hey there thanks i spray my tomatoes with aspirin and vegetable oil mix for pests and diseases. For fertilizer i use a liquid feed called Powerfeed N 14.0%. (P) 1.4%. (K) 8.0% and also use Seasol every time i water them which is a concentrated seaweed .i also used dryed out bananas and crush them up in a food processor and mix it with water. The white powder is just a bit of garden lime . this is my first time growing tomatoes or anything so im just kind of winging it LOL;)
