Terrific! Thanks for updating us.

Fred, I can see that you've been very busy setting up all the associations you mentioned above.
I've known Rob Johnston at Johnny's going back many years and when Tim first opened his High Mowing site, which is near me, there were lots of errors in variety descriptions, and I looked again a couple of years ago andthe site was vastly improved. Someone in NH, whom I've known for many years, now retired from teaching and has set up his own website, told me he was doing trials, I guess, for you as well. So what do you do for relaxation? Carolyn |
For relaxation? We started a tea company.... because nothing is more relaxing than herb tea.
|
Sunrise Bumble Bee (nickname for culinary use = Venere) will also be released this year. Details to be announced soon.
Sunrise Bumble Bee is the variety shown in my avatar. |
Something new from FrogsLeap Farm and Artisan Seeds:

WOW!!!!! How soon can we grow it!
|
There is a small chance it will be available next year. More likely the following year. It depends on how uniform the line is this summer, and whether or not the flavor consistently stays up to speed.
There is also always the possibility that we have to go back to the drawing board, if the flavor is not maintained this summer, or in future generations. It happens. It is tempting to give beauty a pass on flavor, but we try not to do it. |
Hi Fred,

Good for eating fresh or for drying and flaking. |
Fred that Pink with Blue stripes looks great. I hope it works out this summer!

Modern Farmer article is out
http://modernfarmer.com/2013/04/lucky-tiger-tomato-lovers-get-lucky/ As with all articles, it is not 100% accurate. But you will get the idea. |
Great publicity Fred. Congrats!
Is this one different than Green Blush? |
Green Blush used to be the working name for Lucky Tiger.

Yes Fred Looks very enticing indeed, I'm lusting after it, Like I did when I saw my first Pink Berkley Tie-Dye. Good luck with it |
Glad to see you get more exposure Fred. The Pink Bumble bee and Highland kale are ready for transplant and the Mareko peppers are popping up. As soon as I have room I'll get the Captain Lucky, Purple Bumble bee and Blush started. I can't wait for my friends and family to try them.
