After seeing the picture, I would have said DANG too. I know I've most likely seen other pictures of squirrel bite damage here, but I won't forget that picture.

Cut the bite off, and chow down!That puppy is far too nice to waste.

Suggest to pick at first blush, they will ripen nicely if left on a countertop, virtually no loss of flavor. Saves them from the critters.

If I don't pick them at first blush the tree rats get me every time.
