Should I "Blame" AgroThrive For This??

I've applied 2 applications of AgroThrive since planting out April 1. Below photos taken April 6 and again on May 6:

I even have fruitset on Momotaro:

So far, off to a good start - it MUST be the AgroThrive - and not me!

Good to see some proof of product! Anxious to see further down the road how it's performed.

Greg,

I used the "Flower & Fruit" version 3-3-5. Every one of the plants are flowering now with a few setting fruit. Happy with this on May 6 in northern California.

Give your Earthtainers some credit too! Lol

Very impressive. I look forward to seeing your progress. I also am trying Agrothrive 3-3-5 this year and fed my plants a drench yesterday, but only 1/2 strength because my plants are still pretty young. In 2 weeks I will go full monte with their next feeding.

Looking great, Ray. I planted out April 4th, so I'm only a couple days behind but definitely not close to any fruit set like that yet (only a few on the cherry varieties).

Are you mixing it in with the reservoir? Or somehow doing a drench? I've spent a lot of brain cycles trying to think of an easy way do do an occasional drench in the ET setup, but haven't figured it out yet.

I am doing a soil drench on the 1'st and 15'th of the month. Later in the Season I will be using an Easy-Flo to distribute the Agro-Thrive to all the EarthTainers. I am really impressed with how emerald-green the plants are this year (maybe my eyes are just getting older).:?!?:

I see...so that begs the question, what is your technique for soil drench in the ET? Do you pull off the bark, pull up the plastic, etc?:o

I built these ET precisely because I'm a lazy gardener!

I simply dilute 1 oz. AgroThrive in a gallon watercan, then do a top drench as the base of the plant stem to saturate the young, shallow root ball. Later in the Season when the roots have grown down in the EarthTainer, I will switch over to the Easy-Flo to inject the AgroThrive into the water reservoir for bottom up feeding.

ps: I apply about 1 Pint to each plant.

Got it! Thanks!

Wow Raybo! Those look fabulous! How does the one month growth compare to what you've seen in years past? I planted out my dwarfs the same day as you planted (or the day after??) and have used diluted AgroThrive General Purpose on them. After just sitting there for a while, they're finally starting to take off a bit. About a third of them have fruit and nearly all have blossoms. They've probably doubled in size. But I think I'll switch over to the formula you're using next time around. Very impressive.

Anne,

Hard to say year over year, but I am very impressed with the growth and how lush and green they all are (tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers). This is the first time I ever remember fruitset on Momotaro and Dona this early.

Kind of reminds me of driving through the Artichoke fields in Salinas (which ironically is where the AgroThrive processing Plant is located).

I would save your 3-3-2 for seedlings and then use the 3-3-5 for in-ground fertilization:
