Our Plants available at CHOPTAG Plant Share Meet

I only potted-up what plants I'm going to plant. So I'm not sure what plants I'll pot-up to bring to the meet. So if there's any on this list you'd like to have, let me know. I'll do 5 plants of any one CHOPTAGer on a request basis. But I may only have a couple of some, so first come first served.

Please feel free to add your on plants available to this thread.

CHOPTAG

Earl,
First of all, thanks for the directions. I think I am going to follow Gary up from Louisville, so if he knows the way I should be able to find it.

I would like to have a Green Giant, a Peruvian Bush, a Mountain Mystery, and a Moscow Delicious if no one has claimed them yet. And what is a Humph? Never heard of that one before.

When I get time to finish bumping mine up to bigger pots I plan to list them. At that point I will feel more comfortable about them still being alive when I get to the swap.

Thanks,
"MMS"
Michael

Earl,

Cathy informs me that her Grub's Mystery Green may not be doing so good. Do you mind bringing 1 or 2 for me just incase?

Also, I wouldn't mind trying the Carbon and Noir de Crimee if it's not too much bother.

Looking forward to meeting you at last! :)

It's Mountaineer Mystery Earl! LOL Sell them for $5.00 each! He he

Earl April 16, 2006 07:43 PM

Ok, I've got Michael and Ken taken care of, but I'm now out of Green Giant.

Lisa is down for a Grub's Mystery Green.

Neil's down for an Earl's Faux.

Dave's down for Earl's Faux, Aunt Gertie's, Grub"s Mystery Green, Novikov's, and Lil's and no more Grub's Mystery Green.

Gotcha, Doug, Mountaineer Mister. :-)

BTW, I may have to whack the tops out of the Kimberlys, but if I do it's no problem they're sprouting laterals like they're going out of style, in fact some laterals are as tall as the main stems.

I planted a few early types today in my early raised-bed: Kimberly, Moscvich, Silver Fir Tree, Praleska, Leningradski, New Big Dwarf, Polish Dwarf, Mano, and Lime Green Salad.

Is this your first ones to go in the ground? Just curious. I transplanted 14 a while back. It has been SO WET that I've not been able to do anything... ARGH! :x I'm so tired of RAIN!

Hey Earl,

If you have an extra Green Giant bring one for me. I had zero luck germinating mine this year.

Dave_Z6 April 17, 2006 08:02 PM

Jerry:
I think Earl said he was out of the Green Giant.
I have eight going and will be happy to bring one down for you. You must have got your GG seed from
the wrong tomato as mine germinated 100%.LOL
I had a few no-shows with others though.
See Ya .
Dave

Thanks, I'll be looking for it Dave.

Ok, I've got everything spoken for potted-up. So don't be bashful, If I've got anything you want, speak up!

Got 2 Lester's left, new one for me and not distributed much. From the info, it's a large black from Australia, an old family heirloom. First two hands raised gets them.

JerryL April 19, 2006 08:48 AM

My hand is up.

ZBQ April 19, 2006 02:23 PM

I guess I will raise mine too. That one sounds really interesting. :D

I feel like a foster parent for little orphaned tomato plants!!

Thanks Earl!!

Neil
