?

Despite having grown peppers for over 40 years I still don't know whether to remove and keep removing the new growth that comes out lower down on the plant. This is mainly a question of what to do with it on bell peppers. Most of the time I have been removing it and only allowing new growth above the first blossom that comes out at the first fork in the plants. It seems to have worked out quite well but I really haven't given letting the lower growth mature to see if it makes a difference. I would appreciate any guidance on this subject. I grow in a very hot and extremely humid area and mulch my peppers well.

Well you have more than one plant I would give it a try to see what happens.

I guess I should. You would think I would have already done it as much as I experiment with tomatoes.
