Wheat Belly Bread
http://www.durgan.org/URL/?YXWEE 13 March 2014 Wheat Belly Bread.
Homemade bread was made using quick yeast, whole wheat grains,a liter of corn, a liter of apple juice. The apple and corn were canned during the Summer. The ingredients were two liters of whole grains, one litter of corn , one liter of apple, three tablespoons of yeast. The wheat grains were made into flour using the Wondermill. This only takes a few minutes. The mixture was kneaded into a ball and shaped into loaves. The shaped loaves were allowed to rise for about two hours in the pans greased with Mazola oil, and cooked for about an hour at 375F.The finished texture is a heavy bread slightly leavened. I ingest about a slice per day. I have no gluten allergies and dismiss the wheat belly hysteria with a grain of salt. Here is the corn and apple prepared when in season during the Summer. And after trying to sort out the flours sold commercially, my opinon is that they are not all that nutritional. I prefer my own Full Monty homemade flour. |
