Congrats encore! Yes, Worth of course it counts. After all it is known as a tomato not a squash.

Congratulations! It's been a tough summer for many of us.

I've only had 'cherry' tomatoes so far too. (Yellow plum, chocolate sparkles, and cherry falls red cherry). The larger tomatoes are several weeks behind last year.

I hate to say it but we've had too much rain here in Ontario.

encore, you are smart giving the first ripe one to your wife :)

Sungold is always my 1st ripe one, picking this week too. Tomatoes are late ripening by 2-3 weeks for me this year. Too many cool nights, I think. 0-33 is the first regular tomato ripe and sweetly delicious. Also picked a Meme Beauce yesterday though not completely ripe. Nice to have them starting up at last.

My first ripe one is Maglia Rosa, always one of the earlier ones to produce and all the way to frost. Lots of fruit on Green Tiger and Blush as well, my best trio.
My big ones are way behind this year. Best setting : black from Tula. Then Big Beef, Delicious, Jaune Flammee, Rebel Yell, KBX, egg-sized at best.
First time to grow Delicious, outstanding healthy plants and fruit set. Rebel Yell has tones of blooms, so does KBX .

Two on Santa Maria and one on Russian 117 are taking on an orange hue...finally!

Hopefully this means the switch has been flipped and the tomato harvest will begin. It's about a week later than the last several years, although the grafted plants are more heavily loaded than the non-grafted ones have been in the past.
