Mustard Seed

We are looking to grow mustard next year and would appreciate any suggestions on a good source for seed might be.

Thanks,

Alex

I grow Florida Broadleaf (I think) I go down to the feed store and tell them I want an ounce and they dip it out of a bucket. I have a good bit growing along side the turnips for greens. For some reason the bugs really really like them. I am going to try to cook some today. I want to mention if you get the ones with frilly leaves they are REALLY hard to clean. Mustards are hard to clean anyway.:dizzy:

Rena,

Thanks for the reply. My post is a bit vague. What I am looking to do is grow mustard for seed so as to make different varieties of mustard. There are not many vendors selling just mustard seed and there are quite a few varieties.
I grow mustard greens so I'm wondering if I let them go to seed will that provide me with enough to make a couple jars of mustard?
Osaka purple is a really nice one to try and I've had no problem with bugs or slugs. In fact in the slug infested environment of the PNW my mustard is one of the few early crops that survives. Would love to try the Florida sometime.
