DIY Remote freeze Alarm
1 Attachment(s)
Here is a drawing of a remote temperature alarm you can make yourself.
You need a rain bird rain/freeze sensor a 24VAC relay a 3 way switch and a 24VAC buzzer/light. Some wire a terminal block and a box to put it all in. I think I got the wiring right. COM=common. NC= normally closed. NO= normally open. Feel free to ask any questions and for sources of the things you will need. |

Used to mind my uncles berry farm in stark NH during the week while he worked in Boston.
He had a frost alarm hooked to a real deal fire alarm bell mounted in the great room. Try getting woke up by one of those 6 ft from your head, cause you fell asleep on the sofa! Was only 19 he was afraid I'd sleep through something that didn't rattle my teeth. Thing went off and sent me into a spin, putting my shoes on I leaned on the fireplace heatilator grate and burned my hand, but deaf and singed I still got the pumps going. |
Nematode, that's so funny!
