Pometa:

Listada de Gandia (the real thing, many varieties and hybrids are sold under this name). Naquera strain. Even Gandia is in Spain, "Listada" is clearly Spanish, and this eggplant has been grown "for ever" around Gandia, it is listed almost everywere as Italian or even French.

Me dieron ganas de meterles cuchillo a todas y directo al sarten o a la parrilla! Se ven hermosas.

I felt like putting them all under the knife and straight to the pan or on the grill! They look beautiful.

Now I want some eggplant too for dinner. Very..very nice. I didn't even know there were Spanish Eggplants. Learn something new all the time. : )

Yes, those all are beautiful! (and they must have been delicious!)

I'm curious about Verde Clareta. Are they ripe as photographed? Or I s it similar to the Italian Cucuzza which will be twice that size?

Great pictures. The Listada de Gandia is a pretty egg.
