Basil, Cinnamon ?

I got some seeds and google search isn't turning up much
one place said
"pancakes, and chili with it's cinnamon touch"

(btw is there a google or google type search for recipies where you can type in the herb or veg and get results?)

There may be a better way but I usually just type recipe and the ingredients in Google. I always get lots of hits. BTW cinnamon basil is great in pesto.

I love cinnamon basil. It's one of my favs. To me, cinnamon basil taste like sweet basil with a touch of anise, cinnamon and sweetness.

I use cinnamon to make:

homemade salad dressing

Pesto

A cilantro replacement in mild-medium salsa (with yellow wax peppers). Also use the the flowers in the salsa.

Marinade for bbq or baked chcken (basalmic vinegar, olive oil, onions, garlic, s/p, a little sugar, sometime a diced jalapeno and lots of chopped cinnamon basil).

Marinaded veggies/cheeses. Examples are: cukes, mushrooms, tomatoes, fresh mozerrella.

Herb salads (lettuce/cuke/tomato/etc mixtures with chopped: fresh cilantro, dill, basil (whatever type is in over abundance in my yard), green onions and other like herbs).

I also know a person that uses cinnamon basil to make chimichurri type dipping sauce. Unfortunately, I do not have a recipe.

I have also heard of people sneaking in a few leaves in iced tea. I haven't given this a try yet. Maybe next summer.
