You asked for it. We/I grow mostly cherry tomatoes.

Ambrosia Red
Anna Aasa
Annie Sunshine
Aunt Ruby's Yellow Cherry
Blue Ambrosia
Brad's Atomic Grape
Exp. Yellow Cherry PL F4 *
Gargamel
Garnet
Green Zebra Cherry
Japanese Pink Cherry
Medovaya Kaplya
Mom's Big Fat Grape
Old Ivory Egg
Oranje Van Goeijenbier
Peacevine
Porter
Suncherry F1
Sungold F1
Sungold F4 *
Sun Sugar F1
Sweet Million
Sweetie Cherry
VHS Cherry F2 *
WOW
Zap Cross F3 *

The ones with an * you won't find online other than here at Tomatoville.

The above list are ones we have growing now. The Moms Big Fat grape and Medovaya Kaplya are growing in an RKN infested area of our garden, and probably will not live long enough to produce. I will be planting seeds of both for our fall garden that is located elsewhere. I usually only plant cherry tomatoes in our fall gardens, but this year, I'm going to try Rebel Yell too.

Here's mine in alphabetical order:

21X-F2-1 This is one of DFollett's creations, grew in Fall - Excellent!!!, growing saved seed (F3) now but started seeds super late (March).

Brad's Atomic Grape - Tastes way better than it looks - Will definitely grow again. Mine do not get the reddish look shown on the pictures. Very prolific and not huge for a cherry plant.

Esterina - The BEST!!! Lives up to the hype.

Lizzano - Grew in Fall, determinate/semi-determinate so done, LOVED especially the small plant; tried growing saved seeds F2s but didn't match the F1s. Was far more determinate than the F1s. I didn't think it tasted as good either.

Maglia Rosa - Grew in fall, but determinate and done - plant pulled

Purple Bumble Bee - Haven't eaten too many; mine took a long time to ripen but seems very prolific. Excellent hang time on plant.

SunGold - Sowed in August; still going strong!

ETA: I forgot to add: Green Bee - this is the new release from Fred Hempel that has super long shelf life. Received the seeds super late in the season (March) but sacrificed a few seeds to try. Have one healthy plant with lots of flowers and small tomatoes.

Gardener - How do the F2 Esterina's compare to the F1s?

Jillian, our Sweetie's are growing exceptionally well here this year. I'm hoping they do the same for you. It's a really good OP that doesn't get mentioned nearly enough.

I have:

Pearly pink orange
Pink Bumblebee
Indigo Cherry Drops
Reverend Michael Keyes
Juliet F2
and hopefully Green Zebra Cherry, but only one seed germinated, and I babied it, and then planted it out, and stepped on it  So now I have the top re-rooting in some water inside.

Floridity F1, Green Tiger, Galina. I only have space for 11 tomatoes on the balcony, and I'm cutting down on the small varieties, since they are less productive.
Galina is the only one I have grown (a fantastic taste, but sensitive to everything).
Not sure Green Tiger belongs in this topic though, it doesn't seem to be a small tomato, if that's the case the the so called cocktail tomatoes (european word) would belong too. And I grow Saveol Cocktail (probably f2 from store bought tomatoes). Cocktail tomatoes are around 30-40 grams.
I kinda wanted to try Favorie de Bretagne, but can't find seeds anywhere, not even sure it's stable. Who wants Green Tiger, if a more intense tiger is available?

I love cherry tomatoes, but we are not growing a bunch of varieties this year. Growing multiples of each variety. I lost a lot of seedlings back in april during some nice weather and a sudden thunderstorm that turned out to be way more severe than was forecast, or looked on radar.

We're growing:

Black Cherry

Yellow Pear

Sunrise Bumblebee (First year growing this one)

That makes me happy, seems I grew it several years ago . Loved it but somehow forgot about it. I am really looking forward to it.

First time growing purple Bumblebee. I accidentally gave my one seedling of it to my daughter last year. She put it in a 20 gallon pot and wow it went bonkers. One of the prettiest plants/tomatoes I have ever seen.

Green Tiger and Blush are my perfect salad and Pico de Gallo tomatoes.

Nan_PA_6b May 11, 2017 10:43 AM

Black Cherry (universally loved, can grow in less sun)
Medova Kaplya (first time)
Sungold f1 (first time- gotta find out what all the fuss is about)
Tommy Toe (this one should be more popular! Tastes like a full-sized tomato, prolific, a little larger, so you can use it like a regular tomato in a pinch)
Yellow Pear (for DH. Can grow in less sun)

Also, does anyone know Lucky Tiger? Reviews? I got it free with a seed order.

Nan
