My original order arrived water logged. Most but not every packet was drenched, and even then some of the packets still seemed to have some good seed due to the way the packets were oriented and the way some seeds shifted.
Remy went above and beyond. While I was still test germinating to find out which seeds needed to be replaced, Remy replaced the entire order. :surprised: |

I get that many businesses had to cut corners to save money during that challenging period, but CUSTOMER SERVICE must be as important as product if someone intends to grow in business long term. To know Remy, as I have for many many years, I wouldn't expect anything less of her,for she is an outstanding person for many of us.
For many years she was head of the produce dept at a Wegman's near Buffalo, Wegmans has consistently been near the top of grocery chains as rated in Consumer's Report. Wegmans was either selling or giving away, nice canvas tote bags, one had grapes on it,and another one yes, tomatoes,so what did she do? She explained it all here a tville and said if anyone wanted them, she bought them, yes,it was buying, and would send them to us, and she did and then we sent her the money we owed her. I still have my tomato one,too pretty to use, so soon I can call it an heirloom. Carolyn |
Thanks Everyone,
I try to do my best when it comes to my customers. :) Carolyn, That's too funny about the bag! Remy |
thanks Remy
I just ordered seeds from the seed shop.

Updated Site
Hi All, It is that time of year again. I've been working on getting the tomato pages done. I split them into 4 as they seemed to be getting too long. So check it out, and if you find mistakes let me know. Staring at the computer screen for hours on end makes it easy to miss an error. Oh and I updated up to Stump of the World. I'll get the rest tomorrow night.

Hello,
after a year with nearly no tomatoes i tried to geht in contact with Remy via facebook and E-Mail. But i did not get an answer! Does someone know if she is busy or worser sick? Simone |
Hi Simone,
I'm ok :) I did not get your email. I will have to look through my spam. You message on FB I did get, but I can not respond. I have a message from FB that says "Your Page is no longer able to send messages to this person" I've never seen that before. I have no clue why. Remy |
I found you in my spam!! Glad you posted here. I'll write back to you. :)

I've known Remy as an internet friend for several years. She goes the extra step for you and though I've never met her, I feel like she is an old friend. This year, with the exception of three beans, I ordered everything from her. It was delivered promptly and well packaged. In my opinion, you just can't beat her service and attention to detail.
|
I so agree. Love cruising through her listings. Have not ordered yet but
will soon. I ordered bulk seed/herbs from another company Dec 10th and they arrived Dec 27th. 17 days. Some were meant to go with gift packages, grrr. I'm patient with seed orders. Busy time of year for suppliers and plenty of time to decide what I'll be starting. |

Thank you, HMK. I try. I feel like people like you are old friends. When I travel and meet internet people, it is like meeting long lost family. [QUOTE=oakley;681592]I so agree. They should have gotten them right out or let you know there would be a delay. In Dec. things always go out fast here especially since I know people do give the seeds as gifts. Right now, it is harder as everyone is ordering so they are coming in faster than they go out. The girls and I are working every day. |
Another vote for the Sample Seed Shop, this gal goes above and beyond as far as customer service goes, the only problem is she keeps enticing me with another interesting heirloom bean or tomato. Just when I say no more her website pulls me in and my eyes glaze over. My favorite place to shop, so many interesting varieties, so little time.

Ditto.
Remy is great and her seeds have germinated for me every year so far. |
Agree wholeheartedly.

Thank you all! I really appreciate it :)

Great service and selection!
Thank you for my recent orders :) I love that you are ‘local-ish’ and you have a great selection of seeds. My ‘bonus’ from each of the orders are especially cool, since you sent stuff that really interests me even though I didn’t know that I wanted them :cute: my garden is going to be packed full this year.... maybe next years planning should leave one entire raised bed empty to allow for all the wonderful extras!

Glad you are happy:)! I do try to make sure everyone gets bonuses of things they would like to grow. I hope we have great weather this year! |
I'm growing some of those bonuses too! Purple Dog Creek. Thanks Remy!

You're welcome. Glad you like your bonuses too! |
Hey All, It is that time of year. I just finished working on updating my tomato pages and my pepper page. I still have to finish the bean page. If you find any mistakes, please let me know. Staring at the screen for hours for a few days makes it difficult to catch them all.

Hi Remy, I really enjoyed my seed purchasing experience with your seed shop. The Bonus seed packets were a nice surprise as well.
I really enjoyed reading your descriptions of the plants. They seem honest and not the typical canned description of the plant/fruit that seem to be everywhere. The prices are great and the amount of seed is nice. Getting to try a bunch of varieties to see what works and what doesn't without breaking the bank is wonderful. |
Remy, I got my order from you yesterday which is wonderful because a different order I have out there has been hiding in the Atlanta postal system for seven days. :x
I was holding my breath hoping they wouldn't hijack yours too but I can now exhale. Whew! Great job and thanks for the bonus! |
Thank you! I'm glad you all are happy with your orders :), and that they made it there in a timely manner!
|
sorry I am so late...and adding to the covid rush. I forgot I had a customer needing a gwr tomato for a farm market. oops. thanks for all the great selections. stay healthy and well.

No problem. Everyone has been good so far about wait time. Knock on wood it stays that way. It has been like the TP and lysol rush!! It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't working alone. But I keep plugging along. Did have a few people not thinking and ordering perennial flowers that need winter sowing. I added a notice to the site to wait on ordering those. |
Best seed service and quality ever!
The only thing I don’t like is using pay pal. If you could do Apple Pay it would be perfect. |
