Mold or something else?

So this was the tomato plant that I found with mold on my new bamboo pole. I cleaned the pole only with a high bleach water mix and a toothbrush. A couple days after I noticed splotches on the leaves that were dark green and dry. I put this down to probably dropping bleach water on them while cleaning the pole. This is now 3 consecutive days and I noticed a dark patch on the stem, that I cut off. To be safe, I treated all my tomatoes with bordo copper spray this morning. Then I see this. Not sure if it just developed or I missed it this morning, but I cut it off anyway.
When I had mold last year it was dark grey, this is brown. What do you think this is? |

I just found a spot in the stem, and this is the only affected leaf

Anyone? I’m not sure how best to treat this, or if I should just pull the plant. Are the fruit safe to eat if there’s no mold/blight on them?
|
I don't see much to be concerned about. Some of the marks on the stems look simply like a physical injury. You might have a touch of mold/blight but the copper spray should take care of it. Pick off the affected leaves and dispose of them in the trash not the compost pile. Your tomatoes are perfectly safe to eat.

I hope so.
I found this on the plant next to it. I sprayed yesterday, how long does the copper take to work? I thought this would prevent anything further. |
