Who's attending Tomatopalooza™ V?
I have a bad feeling either no one will show up (as no one has posted they're coming), or 300+ will show up to eat the 10 maters I bring!

I'm going to get the ball rolling here and start a thread for people to post if they plan on attending Tomatopalooza™ V.

I will be attending and look forward to meeting everyone. ;)

My wife Sue and I will be there, of course....this will make it 5 in a row. Not sure which tomatoes I will be able to bring -too many variables to consider right now! We will have to position bouncers at the appropriate table if some of us bring the Dwarf F2s and F3s...no seeds allowed to depart with anyone from those particular specimens!

I'm giving serious consideration to attending -- need to get on the ball and look at my schedule, as well as the logistics of doing so!

Will try to figure it all out by early next week.

I am planning on attending. Are we suppose to bring tomatoes from our garden?

I plan to go. It's on my birthday! :)

Each and every year I say I am going and then something comes up.

Yes, if possible. I'm just hoping for more of Martha's Lime Green Salad Sorbet!
Yummmmmmm!

Lee, who will also be there.

I plan to be there and bring Andrew.

I'll be there with the family. I think my teenage daughter wants to come this time since there is music involved! I'm not sure what I'll have as far as tomatoes, since I have only about half as many varieties as last year, but I'll bring all that I can. I may also have some friends that will be attending, and will post a number when I know for sure. Can't wait!!! And I'm really looking forward to meeting Mischka!

Hello all - this is Jimmy in Efland, happy location host for Tp5. This is my first contact on Tomatoville, and I thought I'd check in. Many many friends on our invitation list plan to be here, and it's great to have everyone's deepest tomato passions revealed!
Many friends have bought plants from Craig, or I've given them plants. I think we'll have lots of people, and even a few who've never tasted a real tomato. Hoping for converts.

Welcome, Jimmy, and thanks so much for hosting what I am sure will be a fun, memorable event! (of course, you may be wondering why you agreed after you've been invaded by a bunch of tomato nuts!). Can we turn the thermostat down a bit for the day - the current forecast of an endless string of 95 plus degree days is a bit rough to imagine on gardens....surely we can order up a nice 85 degree day with a light, refreshing breeze and low humidity!!??

By the way, glad you made it here to Tville...lots to read, if you dare take the plunge!

I'm hoping to attend as well. I need to check with a couple other folks from the area to see what they are planning as far as driving/carpooling goes.

My production will be iffy then as many plants are showing signs of heat stress from having to be in containers. I've never had a much BER before but this year it seems like half of the varieties are having problems. Not to worry Lee, the two LGS plants are heavily laden with fruits and are doing just fine.

I would like to attend (tentatively). It is going to be a challenging trip from NJ and will certainly involve air travel but I do not want to miss such a great tomato tasting opportunity. I might combine the trip with some other activities in the area.

Although NJ is called the Garden State, very little gardening is actually happening around here and my closest event is MAGTAG, which requires an extremely painful 4 hour drive from where I live.

I plan on coming

I'll be their
I am not at all certain what tomatoes I will be bringing. A number of them should be ripe, But can someone please turn down the heat 95+ for days on end is not good for my plants or me.
Tim other wise know a celticman or that crazy man in the middle of cary who grows tomatoes

I'm out of town that week but will shoot for next year. Need to plan a long weekend around it.
