Compost Tea in EarthTainer?

Has anyone here tried adding compost tea to any type of self watering container? In January I started a small composting bucket (5 gal). But I then decided to grow my tomatoes in EarthTainers, which don't need my compost. I now have 5 gallons of compost and no immediate use for it. So, can I mix some of the compost with water, strain out the solids, and pour the remaining liquid into the EarthTainers? Or its there a better use for the compost? Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend it. Have you ever smelt CT that's past it's prime? IMHO it would stink to high heaven in a SWC.

Use it in your garden but keep it away from the SWC'S. Ami
