Viviparous Micro-Toms
 

Has anyone saved seed from Micro-Tom before? I've observed an interesting phenomenon. Often when I collect ripe fruits and seed them, many of the seeds inside have germinated already. I'm not harvesting when the fruits are overripe, I cut them open when they ripen. I find this fascinating but I'd like to prevent it so I can save the seed. Does anyone know a method to prevent vivipary?
