Not getting notifications?

For quite some time noe I have not been getting a notification when someone posts to a thread I have replied to. I have checked and it is checked for me to be notified--can anyone tell me what may have happened? thanks

Am I the only one regularly receiving notifications then? How odd!

I too do NOT get notifications OR if anyone sends me a private message. They have to email me direct to my email address.

That might be in your settings or something.

I also don't get notifications. Seems there is a problem with the server that allows some to get notifications and others don't. If I understood correctly, it may not be corrected any time soon.

The best way to keep in touch with everything here at TV is to click on "New Posts" link at the top of this page.

Nan, that's what I usually do-- but I have always received an email each time there's a reply to one of my subscribed threads, and I miss that.

I don't miss it at all.

Not having notifications makes having a seed offer twice as hard.

I sort of understand. Why don't these people reply to your thread? I never got into the notifications. Kind of like the Friend's section or those annoying emails telling you that someone has posted a PM.

I do check my emails every 6 months or so.

DonDuck February 27, 2019 09:00 AM

I really don't mind not getting notifications. Checking the "new posts" method works well if you check it often. If I miss a couple of days, the thread I'm interested in sinks to the bottom and is never seen again.
