What are your Top 5 favourite Dwarf project 2020?
 

Hi,
after some years of exploration of the Dwarf Project deveopments

I have tried a few and will continue to explore …

My 5 that endure so far as of 2020 :

(Its hard to choose ….but)

1) Yukon Quest

2) Dwarf Arctic Rose

3) Boronia

4) Bundaberg rumball

5) Adelaide Festival

I've only tried 2 Dwarf tomatoes so far, but I love them, so I'll put them out there. I have seeds for Dwarf Emerald Giant, so may try that soon. Also, getting some Adelaide Festival seeds.

GREAT taste. Just wish I could get them to produce more!

taste type ….production...part of the season ...size of fruit etc.:yes:

Really the Dwarf Project has produced lots of great varieties plants to choose from .:yes:

Here are some pictures.i am also growing Dwarf Almandine, which is having similar fruit, but on a slightly smaller plant than Sneaky sauce.

I only grew one this year, Dwarf Wild Fred. Exceeded my expectations for production, and was my best tasting tomato.

I do have a question; outside of Victory Seeds, I can't find much about Dwarf Almandine. Can you direct me to more info about this one, like when it was released, and any reviews?

very new release, most work done by Idahowoman. I've not grown it yet, Victory is sole info resource.

These first tomatoes seem to be growing really large this year!

I had not much luck with dwarf tomatoes, but I'll keep trying !!

Few years ago, I tried Wherokowhai, Dwarf Golden Gipsy and Dwarf Purple Heart from the Dwarf tomato project. They really did not like my growing conditions, plants were not growing well and had diseases quite early, if I remember correctly. I don't remember tasting a fruit from them.

I also tried Polish Dwarf and Dwarf Champion Improved, which grew OK but fruits had nothing special (and were small).

I grew Blanche du Québec for 2 years and I actually liked it. Fruits were small, but taste was good and plants were also great, but for the size of the fruits, I felt it was not early enough. But I'll probably grow it again.

This year, I tried Babylon's Glow, but fruits did not came true to type: I get some small 35-45 g red tomato with stripes... I'll get it from a another source next year.

Next year, I'd like to try more dwarf varieties. I was thinking about:
- Uluru Ochre
- Coastal Pride Orange
- Fred's Tie-Dye (I like pink berkeley tie-dye, so I want to compare them)
- Maybe another orange dwarf, I'll check what is available !

Have been growing Dwarfs for several years. This raised bed is all Dwarfs except for the tall plants(4) at the far corner. Am very pleased with most. Very productive and flavor is excellent. Having a bit of a problem with Artic Rose this year so far?? Last year it produced for months as well as others after a lull after first determinate crop.
I lost my seeds for Dwarf Coastal Pride which was very good last year.
