Coyote Urine

I have the liquid - do I put it on the ground, meaning at the base of my tomato plants, on the leaves? How do I apply it? I have squirrel and groundhog problems. I don't want to eat it as I randomly pick and eat directly from the garden. I realize the rain and my watering will probably wash it off, but what is the best way to apply?

Thanks.

From an ad for coyote urine: To use PredatorPee, you’ll want to apply it in areas where you have animals and wildlife visiting your property. This could include your garden, under your deck, or even the borderline of your property. There’s no need to spray it DIRECTLY on your plants, just in the surrounding area.

I usually spray it on a rock, fence post, piece of wood or some 'thing'. I never spray it on any of my plants. The biggest advantage of using this was that it drew the coyotes in and they have really taken down the rabbit population for me.

My garden plot is at a new site on a farm & I am told that there are lots of coyote in the area. One of the farm workers claims that they run right past him when he is on the tractor but when he is there hunting they are nowhere to be found.

Not a bunny in sight so far. I did see a ground hog once as it ran into the underbrush. So far not a single garden enemy has got past our deer/critter fence. I am thinking I like coyotes.
