Raised Bed and cover

I have a really bad bug problem. I think I'm the only gardener within about 500 miles and all the bugs have only one place to go. So I bought a role of 10 wide by 250 foot long row cover from Johnny's I think it was. I love the stuff.

Earl -- What kind of bugs do you have? Have you had the row cover on all season? Your plants look very health and un-bug-eaten!

Is that Swiss Chard ??

Earl August 1, 2008 08:49 PM

Sherry, I don't know them all. They just kill all my plants like greens and beans and melons and cukes and etc. My collards are covered and a small hole got torn in the fabric and 7 cabbage moths got in at one time. Hehehehehehe, I had them trapped! I wiped them out with glee! It was a massacre! Like an idiot, I usually chase them with a fish net.

Steve, yes, swiss chard [Bright Lights] and okra and brassica and etc.
